Private garden overlooking the lake

I had a side view of the Vierwaldstätter See from the private garden, where Igor placed cushions on the chairs for me to sit. After I walked back from the Pilatus gondola, he drove his car to pick me up in Kriens. I enjoyed my coffee in the room while looking out over Lucerne.

Chocolates and muesli left for guests

I found complimentary chocolates and muesli waiting in my suite, where Sabina kept an extra hair dryer and an umbrella for my use. I prepared meals in the kitchen while staying in the two rooms of the suite. The woods with high-stemmed plants grew directly across from the house, and I walked past them to reach the bus stop for my travel to Lucerne.

Panorama from the rooftop terrace

I watched the fireworks over the city and Lake Lucerne from the rooftop terrace on New Year's Eve. My apartment included a private dry sauna and a full kitchen for preparing meals. I sat by the large dining room window to see the Alps, including Mt. Pilatus, while I ate. Slippers, umbrellas, and toiletries were tucked inside the cupboards for my use throughout the stay.

Sauna in the hills

I used the sauna after a long day of sightseeing. I relaxed on the outdoor terrace while I took in the view of Mount Pilatus and the surrounding mountains. I prepared my dinner in the large kitchen and ate with other guests in the living room, which overlooked the city.

Mountain spring water in the garden

I filled my water bottle at the garden tap, which runs directly from a mountain spring. Raymond handed me a free train pass for the commute to Lucerne during my three nights here. I ate a traditional farmer breakfast with rösti and fried eggs every morning while sitting in the garden.

View of the medieval wall

I watched the medieval wall from my balcony while I looked toward Mount Pilatus. The kitchen possessed an oven, a stove, and a microwave which I used for my meals. I slept with the metal roller blinds down each morning. Ralph picked me up at the train station when I arrived.

I received a travel bag at check-out containing two bottles of water and a box of chocolates. Head concierge Sebastian arranged my transportation tickets and outlined a transit itinerary for my trip. I also used the room service for dinner, which arrived after I placed my order.

Covered parking in the center

I parked my car in the secure, covered plaza de aparcamiento after driving into the city. Yuval met me at the door to hand over the keys while explaining the details of the apartment. I cooked breakfast in the kitchen, which held eggs, milk, and coffee.

Promenade strolls along Lake Lucerne

I walked daily along the lake promenade lined by pruned chestnut trees directly in front of the building. My room featured a private balcony where I looked over the water each morning. I also enjoyed a cocktail from the Mozern Bar, which I drank while watching the view of the historic Old Town. The staff made my four-night stay nice with their warm attention to every detail.
